The Florida Trust has two funds to meet your diversification needs:
As of January 31, 2010 the Florida Trust managed $542,310,503.11 for 30 local governmental entities. At a price per share of $22.7731 the Florida Trust has produced a 12-month total return of 4.568% and a market yield of 2.47%. This short term bond fund invests in U.S. Treasuries and Agency Securities, Mortgages, Commercial Paper, Asset-Backed Securities, and “A” rated Corporate Securities.
The Investment Trust has maintained its objective of investing in securities that yield a maximum return while preserving capital and liquidity since the program's inception in December 1991.
With larger amounts of money to invest, the Trust can purchase securities in larger denominations, thereby reducing transaction costs and improving yield. Larger investment pools will also permit the selection of a variety of securities maturing at various times, which provides diversity and can enhance total return. This fund is rated AAAf by Standard and Poors.
The Florida Trust is pleased to inform you that the Day to Day Fund has converted to a same-day fund.
When transactions are made before 11 a.m. EST, funds will be available the same-day, after 1 p.m. EST. Combine this convenience with the use of the Online Account Access to make managing funds effortless and efficient.
The Florida Trust Day to Day Fund is a money market product created in January 2009 in response to demand to provide a fiscally conservative diversification option for Florida local governments. The fund is AAAm-rated by Standard and Poor’s and is governed by the same board and advisory committee that oversees the Investment Trust.
